Catching fish isn’t guaranteed but what is guaranteed is that Captain Dave will work hard to try and put you on the fish.
Q: What is the cost for a charter?
A: I offer an option for half day or full day charters. Please contact me directly for pricing details. 410-218-7713 (text preferred)
Q: What are my payment options?
A: Cash (preferred), check, or Venmo
Q: How many people can fish?
A: Under my license, I can carry up to 6 guests.
Q: Is the cost per person or per charter?
A: Per charter price and includes up to 6 people.
Q: What shoes should I wear?
A: NO marking shoes. Acceptable- sneakers, boat shoes, or flip flops with light colored soles
Q: Do I need to bring my own rods?
A: No. Rods, tackle and fishing licenses are included in the cost of the charter.
Q: Can I bring a cooler and food?
A: Yes. A small cooler is allowed but space is limited. Food is allowed but please no bananas! (It is an old superstition to be considered bad luck on boats).
Q: Is alcohol permitted?
A: Yes, in moderation for cans of beer (no hard liquor). Safety first.
Q: Can I bring marijuana?
A: No. Due to federal law and Coast Guard regulations, there is a strict no drug policy onboard. (This also includes no medical marijuana.)
Q: Are kids allowed to fish?
A: Yes. Please let me know the number of kids and their ages at the time of booking to ensure the correct sized life vest are onboard.
Q: Do I have to wear a life vest?
A: It is optional for adults but mandatory for kids 13 and younger per the US Coast Guard regulations (sorry- no exceptions). Life vests are available onboard.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, I am a fully licensed and insured Captain with merchant mariner credentials.
Q: What if the weather is bad?
A: Fishing is at the Captain’s discretion for weather. If conditions are bad, we will do our best to reschedule. No refunds once the boat leaves the dock. The charter cost is paying for expenses.
Q: What if I feel like I am bad luck?
A: If you are carrying bad luck, you MUST leave it at the dock.
